Nebula stands as a collective inquiry into the point where human praxis meets radical technology. Through a high contrast aesthetic of metallics, additive manufacturing, and algorithmically driven forms, this exhibition presents the body and its environment not as fixed biological realities but as polished, nonorganic architectures in a state of constant upgrade.
Gloss and smooth polish are the exhibition's operative material and its central argument. The high-shine finishes that define much of the work in Nebula do not signify an ornamental or decorative approach; they signify permanence. The machine outlasts organic matter. The elimination of texture is the elimination of biological traces: no pores, no grains, no evidence of origin. What remains is an object that appears to have arrived rather than been made, as though produced by a process that has already moved beyond the human hand.
For this collective, artificial intelligence and 3D printing are not tools applied after the fact; they are the primary site of authorship, the point at which creative agency and machine logic become genuinely difficult to disentangle. The exhibition does not resolve the question of who or what made the work; it keeps it open.
What Nebula ultimately asks is whether a speculative future built from code and metallic finish can sustain the weight of human presence. Whether the gloss clarifies or conceals. Whether, beneath the brilliant surface, something still needs to be said in flesh.
